Move Backup4all to a new computer
Question:
How do I move Backup4all to a new computer?
Answer:
Please follow these steps:
1. Install on the new computer the trial version without registering it.
2. Move your backups (.bkc files and zip files) to the new computer if they are located on the old computer's hdd.
3. Open the .bkc files on the new computer to recreate the backup configurations.
4. Uninstall Backup4all from the old computer.
5. Register Backup4all on the new computer.

For Backup4all versions 5,6,7,8,9 please follow these steps:
1. Install Backup4all as trial on the new computer.
2. Open the .bkc catalog files from the backup destination. The backup jobs will be recreated in Backup4all.
3. On the old computer, go to File->Help and deactivate Backup4all.
4. Deactivate and uninstall Backup4all from the old computer.
5. Activate Backup4all on the new computer.
