merge bkps

Post by fbarros »

I want to create a full backup on the first day and incremental backups in the next 9 days. Also, I want that on the 11th day the first incremental backup is merged with full backup, but when I test I get the following: full backup on day 1 in 9 days left, incremental backup, on the 11th day, the second incremental backup is merged with first incremental backup, which is not what I want.
Backup4All can do what I want?

Hi,

You cannot do the backups as you described.
The full backup cannot be merged with another incremental. There would be a complete mess.
The Incremental backups are based on the Full backup.
