Evaluating B4All for purchase and getting errors
Hello, I downloaded the 30 day trial to evaluate the features before I make the purchase. I have run a full backup and an incremental and both seem to work well. I am having 1 problem working with the resulting .zip file that was created but the backup job. My goal is to periodically copy the file manually to an external USB drive and take offsite. I am using WIndows Server 2003 and am getting two errors when working with the file from WIndows Explorer.
#1 When I right click on the file I get an error stating, "This page has an unspecified security flaw. Would you like to continue?" If I click Yes, I get the right click pop-up menu. If I click no I don't.
#2 Assuming I click Yes to error #1, I get the right click popup menu and select copy. Then I select the folder on my external hard drive and click paste and I get the following error, "Cannot copy filename. The parameter is incorrect".
Anyone have any ideas? I like the features of this software but if the basic task of a file copy does not work, it is a deal breaker.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi,
Is the path on the destination drive a long one? What about the file name length?
What is the size of the zip file?

Re: Evaluating B4All for purchase and getting errors
The destination drive path to manually copy the files to and name is similar to the following: x:\backups\2010_08_31\2010_08_31_data_full-d.zip where x:\ is a mounted USB hard drive and the backup .zip file resides on a mounted NAS drive z:\...
The size of the .zip files I am trying to copy are between 5 GB and 20 GB. I get the same errors on all of them.

Hi,
Do you have the same problem if you try to copy the file using Total commander or a similar application?
