limit number of backups

Hi,

I have set my backup to "differential" each day except saturday/sunday with an additionally (same job)
scheduled "full backup" every 1st saturday of month.
Now if I want to keep the last 3 full backups, do I have to set the
"limit number of backups" to 3 (only full backups count) or do I have
to select something like 90 to have the last 3 full backups (including the
differentials)?
If "limit number of backups" does not referr to full backups only,
I would like to see an option "keep the last "X" full backups" ..and delete
differential/incremental jobs, like I have seen that with some other
backup software.

Hi,

The limit number of backup versions does NOT mean only full backups. It counts all backup executions for that job.
In your case, I recommend you to schedule a cleanup execution every month. There is a checkbox "Do not delete full backups", please make sure you select it. That will delete only differential backups older than X days.

so I set STORAGE, "Save storage space?" to "no" and
run a cleanup instead (for example once a month)!
Right?
