Keeping some earlier versions of a file
I'm a software developer. What I need is the following:
I have several files in a directory that belong to one project. Some of them will be changed from time to time. I need to backup this directory to a NAS, but keep maybe 3 older versions of a changed file (in case the changes proof to cause problems).
How can I manage this with BackUp4All? I use Backup4all Professional 9.8.734.

Re: Keeping some earlier versions of a file
Hi,
In Backup Properties->Type->Storage page, please select "Yes, limit number of file versions" option and press Save.
This way, Backup4all will keep 3 versions of each source file.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
