File exclusion filters
I'm using Backup4All 9.9
I'm also trying my very best to exclude certain files from my backup. So, of course, I use the appropriate Filters menu item under the Properties page of my backup job.
I have added *.obj, *.exe, *.lib (etc) to the Filters, and marked those as "Exclude" filters. The backup job is a Mirror backup.
And my backup contains .obj and .exe files. It seems that the filter has not been applied.
Any ideas why this might be?

Re: File exclusion filters
Hi,
Please note that file extensions must be added one by one.
If you already defined the filters that way and the files are not excluded, please send us the last backup log for that job.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
