Elapsed time vs Estimated time
When backup job is running the stats page shows Elapsed time and Estimated time.
Elapsed time looks clear - it is a wall clock time since the job has started.
Estimated time is not that clear - is it how long it would take to finish the job starting from NOW or starting from when the job has started?
Also I think if you introduce Estimated COMPLETION time (absolute, not interval) instead of or additionally to Estimated time it would only have one possible interpretation and would be more useful. Estimated time usually serves as a cue when shall one come back to check the job finished. It is easier to do with explicit estimated completion time rather than two intervals to make some math with.
Actually for consistency I would provide absolute time points for both - when job has started and when it is estimated to finish. For compatibility it would be the best to provide all four times - two absolute times and two time intervals.
BTW Thank you for the great software! So far it is the best one I could find for the purpose. Too bad it is not advertised enough - I found it on the six's page of the Google search output regarding backup software.
Thanks!
Konstantin

Re: Elapsed time vs Estimated time
Hi,
The Estimated time means the remaining time till the backup will finish, estimated from the current moment. It is calculated based on the current upload/transfer speed.
Both elapsed time and estimated time are used by the users. There are situations when a job is scheduled to run automatically and the user wants to know for how long it ran.
