"Cannot connect pipe client. Do you want to restart the IPC server?"
I used FBackup for years. I upgraded to Backup4All last month and it has worked fine until a couple of days ago. Now I get the "Cannot connect pipe client. Do you want to restart the IPC server?" error message. Doing that had no effect. Nothing in my configuration has changed other than a Windows 10 update. My last successful backups were on Dec. 14.
Backup4all 9 IP is listed as a Background Process in Task Manager.
How can I correct this? If I need to reinstall, is there a way to export Jobs List beforehand or will I have to recreate it?
Thanks.

Hi,
Please make sure the antivirus/firewall does not block the Backup4all service (bservice.exe).
Put this file in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall. It is located in the Backup4all installation folder.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
