Clone backup up job or save as a back up

Post by smithfx »

Hi,

I have my backup jobs divided into each day of the week. However, keeping the source files in sync between each day is very difficult.

Also, setting up the jobs is very difficult as well since I am not doing full system back ups, just the working files. That means cherry picking the folders that need to be backed up on an ongoing basis.

What would be useful is the ability to clone one of the jobs or to take that one job and do a save as. That way I just need to maintain one job and then periodically refresh the source files list to remove folders which no longer need to be backup up daily.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You can right click the backup job and select "Duplicate" in order to create a copy of the backup job. Than you can edit it as you like.
