Zip error: Out of memory
Hello,
I recently updated my backup4all to version 4.8 (from 4.6).
Now i get an "zip error:out of memory" error on my Friday backup. I already disabled the "Store temporary catalog data in memory" setting.
My Friday backup has a lot of files, is there any limit of the number of files i can backup?
I have read somewhere in the FAQ i should limit/split the amount of files to 100.000 but that is not really an option since there are over 3 million files in a directory.
I tryed to attach the log file, but even the extension .txt is not allowed

Re: Zip error: Out of memory
Hi,
You can still try to limit the number of files in each zip file at a lower number.

Re: Zip error: Out of memory
Sorry, i mis understood the FAQ.
I thought i should limit the backup job to 100.000 files manually.
I found the setting in the compression tab of the backup job settings. limited the amount of files to 100.000 and now the backup succeeded without any error.
Many thanx
