Using Plugins

Post by Blind Squirrel »

I am trying to use the Windows Media Player 12 plugin. From the knowledge base article "How to download, install and use backup plugins" I am learn "From the Selection of files and folders drop-down list, select the newly installed plugin"

Here is where the problem starts, there is no such drop-down list. There is an "Add Folder" button which brings up a "Browse for Folder" dialog box, and an "Add Files" button which does not display the installed plugin. The "Add Files" button does display my Backup4All download folder which does contain the Windows-Media-Player-12.xlm file. However, choosing this file only backups the xlm file, not my music?

Hi,

That plugin was not made to backup the music, just the Windows Media Player settings and configurations.
For music, you can use this plugin: http://www.backup4all.com/kb/backup-mus ... l-395.html
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
