Switching from Smart to Incremental
I changed a backup today from smart to incremental.
I am wondering if it will completely start a new backup ignoring all of the previous files.
The reason why this will be a pain is this is a 101GB update from a clients office to mine.

Hi,
Changing from Smart to Incremental will not ignore your existing backups.
The Smart type will combine Full, Differential and Incremental types, in order to efficiently manage the available backup space in destination.
Changing the backup type to Incremental will only run Incremental backups from now on.
