stream read error

Post by wayland »

I have been getting good backups for quite some time but recently have encountered errors. The reason in the log is always "stream read error". What is this and what is causing it? It is happening while the program says it is "splitting zip file". I am running this on Windows 7 professional 32bit. Below is the log:

Hi,

Please download and install the latest version of Backup4all 4.6.263.
Also enable the detailed logs from Tools->Options->Logs and history.
Run again the backup and if the problem appears again, send us the complete log file to support[at]backup4all[dot]com

Hi

I am a new visitor to this site, having just purchased the software. I came upon this post "Stream Read Error" since I have been getting a similar problem. I shall be posting my problem separately as a new post but I just wanted to know if this issue was resolved by the company or not. My experience so far has not been very satisfactory though.

Regards
Sumit
