Post by jockel »

Hi,
I am backing up to a local harddrive, differential backup.
I am logged in as the user "A"
If I run the backup manually, open files are (databases) are backed up properly.
I schedule the backup job witht he same user "A" and enable "run whether the user is logged on or not".
The scheduled backup job never backs up these open files, the respective section of
the log file reads:

Hi,

Please go to Control Panel->Task Scheduler and edit the task created by Backup4all.
Select the option "Run with highest privileges" from the "General" page.
Do you still have the problem?

Hi,

I checked, the option "Run with highest privileges" was not set.
I did this now and will see tomorrow if the backup jobs
are executed properly now.

I will keep you updated!

Hi,

yes, to set this option "Run with highest privileges" is definitely required.
I verified this on several instllations with "windows 7" and "server 2008".
Can you set this option automatically with future releases?
