seperating full and differential backups by day
Run a full backup of folder X on Friday. Mon - Thursday a differential of this folder is done. This seems to be working fine.
The problem is :
Can I name each days backup by the days name(Mon, Tues, etc.) instead of the insane Backup4all naming procedure? If I could it would solve my problem which is doing a tape backup each day for that particular days Backup4all file.

Hi,
You can add the day in the backup zip name.
To do that, please open Backup Properties->Type. At the bottom you will see the "Customize prefix of backup files" section.
Press "Insert tag" and choose the tag you want to use.
The backup number and the source drive cannot be removed from the backup name.
