seek error

Post by angelbulas »

My logs are sending the following error when I try to backup 188GB

[10/12/2014 03:39:35 p.m.] Archiving files to 1_E.zip
[10/12/2014 10:25:59 p.m.] Warning: Skipping file E:\CMV\avaluos\2014\noviembre\Solicitudes\25146129155985975_respuesta.xml
Seek error (srCreateError)
[10/12/2014 10:27:17 p.m.] Warning: Skipping all files and folders from drive "E:". Cannot add file "E:\CMV\avaluos\2014\noviembre\Solicitudes\25146129155985975_respuesta.xml" to "\\200.53.180.61\ideas\Backup Servidor Aplicaciones E\1_E.zip".
Zip error: Seek error

What could be the error?

I'm backing up to a shared network folder on an offsite location.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi,

Please open Backup Properties->Compression.
Select the "Always use temporary folder to create zip files" option.
Press Save and run again the backup.
Do you still have the problem?
