Restoring old backup
Hi there, I have a backup created in 2007, I can see all of the files and the backup4all catalog file, but when I try to open it using the latest version of backup4all, I get the error
"Cannot load backup catalog "path....\backup4allBackup\server1.bck". please make sure the file is a valid backup catalog and is not used by other applications."
I know it is a backup4all backup (just old) and it is not being used by any other applications (I just checked to make sure right now so I don't waste peoples time!).
Could this be due to version differences between then and now? Please could someone let me know what I should do?
Stuart

Re: Restoring old backup
Hi,
Even if the catalog was created with a previous version of Backup4all, it should work.
Please send us that catalog file to see what the problem is. Send it to support[at]backup4all[dot]com

Hi,
We received the file. It seems the catalog is corrupted.
