Restore of a directory: Creation and Modification date/time wrong
Hi there,
I have a trial run of Backup4All. I work on Windows 11, actual patch state in a Standard User Account (no Admin privileges).
I restore a Folder/Directory which includes one text file:
- The creation date and the modification date of the text file are correct as theye were in the original file.
- The creation date and the modification date of the folder "Directory_1" are not correct. They show the timestamp of the restoration process.
I expect the behavior and result for directories as it is for file restore operations. So, what do I do wrong?
thanks for your help in advance.

Re: Restore of a directory: Creation and Modification date/time wrong
Hi,
Backup4all will normally restore the original dates. We need more information about this situation.
Does the restored file has the correct created/modified date?
Please send us the .bkc catalog file for that job, to support[at]backup4all[dot]com to see how the backup was configured.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
