Restore for beginner

Post by MRJG »

Hello,

(I've searched on the forum and in the doc before asking, so If the answer seams obvious for you... sorry)

My question:

How to restore to a precise date and time? For example, if I do several backups (versions) per day, how do I choose the version I want to restore for a precise day?

When restoring, is there a way to show only days and versions when Backup succeeded.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

In order to restore to a specific date/time, please follow these steps:
1. Open Backup4all.
2. Press the Restore (F7) button.
3. Select a location for restore.
4. Select "Choose/filter files and restore any version" option. Press Next twice.
5. On the page "To what date do you want to restore?" select the backup version you want to restore (you can see the date and time of the execution for each backup version). If you want to restore all files to that date, select all backup version from backup no.1 to the backup you need.
6. Press Finish to start the Restore.
