removing deleted files from mirror backup
I am using a mirror backup with the fast mirror option ON, the remove deleted files option ON, and the only when source is present option OFF...however, none of the deleted files are being removed from the backup files...any ideas as to why? thanks...

Hi,
Please send us:
- the .bkc catalog file for that job. You can find the .bkc file if you go to View->Open folder->Destination folder.
- the .log file for the last backup job. To find it, please go to: View->Job Logs->Last Backup Log.
Put the files into a zip archive.

Re: removing deleted files from mirror backup
Did you find the cause of this problem because I think I am seeing the same thing. I created a mirror backup then checked remove deleted files. I deleted two files on the source and then ran the backup again. After it finished I check the backup folder (on a usb drive) and the files that I deleted from the source where still there?

Re: removing deleted files from mirror backup
Hi,
The files were not removed because the backup did not ran (Backup4all didn't found any new or modified files).
The files will be removed if there is at least one file to be backed up (new or modified).

Re: removing deleted files from mirror backup
Hello,
I am experiencing a similar problem with an FTP mirror backup set. The log doesn't show any problems but files are never removed from the FTP directory. The user account definitely has delete permissions (I checked using a standard FTP client).
I can provide the log and bkc files if that would help.
Thanks,
John
