We have Backup4all here working fine with no problems under Windows 8 both 32 and 64 OS. This OS is fully supported by Backup4all and it is also listed on our website in the supported OS list. Can you tell me where you saw it missing?
Some uses reported a problem with Backup4all running on Windows 8 while they also have other applications installed. In your case it seems that over the "fresh installed" Windows you also installed other applications. The indications seems to be that one of the Backup4all's component is blocked by other applications.
