Problem backing up Outlook profile: "Duplicates not allowed"

Post by jakob-e-s »

I have a problem that just popped up. After changing to a new machine, I am trying to setup my backups again, and for the Outlook profile, it just does not work. I get hit by a warning about some duplicated file, and then the backup stops. Without backing up any of my 30 GB of email archives which are to say the least, precious.

The critical warning is:

Warning: Skipping all files and folders from drive "<Microsoft Outlook>\<Profiles>\<Outlook>\<Personal Store>\". Duplicates not allowed

What kind of duplication does this refer to, and how do I fix it?

The complete log surrounding it is:

Guess I never followed up on this, no notification of the reply via email.

In any case, some update to Backup4All 5 resolved the issue, and backups now appear to be working for Outlook for me again.
