linux shared drive backup

Post by chixsofobia »

well, backup4all worked well for our NAS server provided by the right credential
but when backing up the files from our linux shared drive it finishes after
20 seconds and does not show any signs of error on it, but when checking on
my destination drive the backup does not seem to find or copied folder/files.

please help.

Hi,

Please try to map the network drive and use the mapped drive as backup source. Do you still have the problem?

Support,

tried mapping the drives but displays message "Abort Backup, make drive(s) available and select
retry or Ignore the unavailable sources." i also tried copying manually from the shared drive to my desktop
and it worked fine, but when i tried to copy and add a single file from the shared drive it would not copy at all
and displays the same message about the unavailable sources.

Hi,

Can you send me the last backup log to support[at]backup4all[dot]com?
