I have an IPC problem.

Windows Server 2012R2
Backup4all 5.3.0.723

I have 8 jobs, all type FULL and destination is FTP
In the scheduler I have:
- one entry as ALL jobs FULL once a week
- 8 seperate entries, one for each job, all set as INCREMENTAL 4 times a week, all set at the same time.

The first scheduled entry (FULL) works fine.
The other entries fail with this:

Log file = bSchedStarter_20150416200001.txt(3)

When I look in the LOGS folder, I see 8 files names like this:
bSchedStarter_20150416200001.txt
bSchedStarter_20150416200001.txt(1)
bSchedStarter_20150416200001.txt(2)

bSchedStarter_20150416200001.txt(6)
bSchedStarter_20150416200001.txt(7)

One for each failed job i'm guessing and they all describe the same problem.

Also, Even though I set email notification if a job succeeds or fails, I don't get one in the above cases.

The firewall has Backup4all set as an exception and there is no antivirus installed.

All this worked fine BEFORE decided to upgrade to version 5.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Hi,

Do you use an administrator account?
Do you have the same problem if you manually run the backup?

I deleted and recreated my jobs and now the issue has gone away.

But I still have problems and will start a new thread.
