incremental job does not backup changed file
Job is defined as incremental with limit of 3 file
versions. After 3 or more runs of the job, and the
file has changed 3 times or more during
that period,I should always find that the latest 3
versions have been backed up, right? But I've
noticed that it does not backup a file that should
be backed up.
I tried to attach the log here but it says invalid file extension (.log)
The file has definitely changed since the latest backup.
What am I missing?

Re: incremental job does not backup changed file
Before I send those files..
I have a hunch that the file was indeed restored but I'm just looking for it in the wrong place.
I'm attaching a screenshot of the file tree structure, starting with the folder that I specified to the restore wizard: M:\bkup4all\restore pl-xl-doc 7-5-2017. The wizard asked whether to restore to the original location. I chose the option to NOT restore to the original location and gave the name of the restore-to folder.
I drilled down from Users/Owner in the restore-to folder and the file isn't listed under the folder of the original location. Some other files are there, which is puzzling as I only asked for the one file. So, where will I find the file, if indeed it was restored?
OOPS I attached the wrong screenshot. I've deleted it and attached the correct one.
Seems it didn't delete the old one. The correct one is (2).

Re: incremental job does not backup changed file
Hi,
If you just want to restore a file, please open Backup4all, go to Explore View, select that file and at the bottom you will see its file versions.
Right click the version you want to restore and select restore to.
Let us know if you still have the problem.

Re: incremental job does not backup changed file
I believe the problem is that I haven't defined the job properly.
