How Long for Abort to Finish?
From time-to-time I have had to abort a backup or backup test. Usually the abort finishes quickly but sometimes it goes forever and never finishes, leaving me to have to shut down B4A. What would be considered an average time to complete an abort from the time I press the Cancel button? If it matters, I usually need to do this for optical disk backups.
Thanks much,

Re: How Long for Abort to Finish?
Hi,
When you press Cancel, the backup should stop in few moments, no longer than 1 minute.
Do you have the same problem if you cancel a backup to a local hard drive destination?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

I almost never backup to HD so I don't have metrics on this problem under that condition. I did though, today, try this backup to HD and it worked fine, including the test phase.
