Help with Log after backup fails

Post by Keith1999 »

We are backing up servers using sftp to a Synology NAS. I'm running an incremental backup and this is the error;

Backup aborted. Reason:
Cannot upload file "C:\Users\Administrator.CMC\AppData\Local\Temp\1\Softland\Backup4all 6\687WQPJK47184262T7GD9GFOF447\1_E.z01" to "home/cmcdc/Daily Incremental(1)/1_E.z01" (SFTP). SSH_FX_NO_SUCH_FILE . Pease check if the file exists and verify the user permissions. (2)
Next scheduled backup: 8/19/2016 7:00:00 PM
Backup aborted after 1:27:20 hour(s) at 8/19/2016 4:24:48 PM with 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

Any suggestions? thanks.

Hi,

1. Do you have the latest version of Backup4all 6.1.227? If not, please install it and try again.
2. Do you have enough permissions to upload files to that folder?

I am running version 6.0 but when I go to your website, the latest download is 6.0 . I see a link for "NEW Backup4all 6.1.227" but it takes me to the download.html page with 6.0. Am I missing something ?

Hi,

The link on our page is for version 6.1.227.
If you get the old version, please try to delete the cache or use another browser.

Any idea why it's failing? Thank you.

Hi,

It seems to be a permission issue here.
Please make sure you can upload files to that location using another SFTP client as FileZilla. Do you still have the problem?

I installed FileZilla on a couple of the servers and I was able to transfer files to the NAS using SFTP. It doesn't seem to be a permissions issue especially since the backups were working and now they are not. This is occurring at more than 15 of the servers trying to backup to the NAS.

Hi,

Can you see what is different since the backup fails?
Do you have an older log to compare?
Is the size of the backup larger now?
