FTP Invalid Folder

Post by crabman7975 »

I have a separate drive on my FTP server (I:\Backups). When I put that path into the folder section and try to create a backup job, it's telling me that there are invalid characters. How else can I type the path to the I:\Backups folder?

Hi,

What is the external path for that location?
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

I think you need to specify the Virtual Directory name only when using ftp locations.
i.e
site = domain.com or ip address if within your local network or localhost if on the same machine.
folder = Backups (This is the name you gave to the ftp server to access the directory / folder)

Hope this helps
