EXCESSIVE CPU BEING USED BY B4A Tray Notifier
I am running a new HP ENVY 700-210xt CTO running Windows 8.1, 16GB memory and i7 4th gen processor, Backup4all version 5.0 build 355. I have been running for about a week with no problems but the system came to a crawl this morning. Task Manager shows Backup4all - Tray notifier (32 bit) using about 14.4% CPU. I waited almost 30 minutes but the task never freed up the system, the percent of CPU would vary by less than one percent. Once I ended the task the system freed up.
What is going on with the Tray Notifier?
What is the purpose of the Tray Notifier?

Re: EXCESSIVE CPU BEING USED BY B4A Tray Notifier
Hi,
The tray is used for fast access.
We fixed some problems related to tray in the latest version 5.0.359.
If you want to disable tray, please go to File->Options->Startup, then uncheck the "Show tray icon".

After upgrading to the 359 build, I do not see the problem. Thx for the quick reply.
