Doing both differential and incremental backups
In the past I have only done differential backups, once a night (starting with a full backup, of course). Would it work to do a mid-day incremental backup in addition to the differential backups? Will Backup4All handle a full restore correctly in this scenario?

Re: Doing both differential and incremental backups
Hi,
Yes, you can schedule a mid-day incremental backup execution for the same job.
Please note the differential backup will copy all new and modified files since the last full backup, not since the last differential.
If you run differential backups for a long period of time, it is recommended to run a full backup from time to time, not to get very large differentials.
