The backup catalog has to be in destination. You cannot change that.

Well, then I still need a solution to reduce the size of the catalog file.

Hi,
The backup catalog size is determined by the number of entries stored in it. with other words, in order to reduce the catalog size, you need to reduce the number of backup versions and file versions stored in catalog.
