Backup4All pro 4.8 hangs at startup

Backup4All pro 4.8 hangs at startup

Each time I try to start B4A it hangs and windows 7 says Not Responding.

This happened after I aborted a new mirror backup, when I realized I was putting the files in the wrong location. I tried restarting the PC (no help), then uninstalling and reinstalling the program. Nothing helps. It just hangs with the getting started window displayed on top of the main window.

Eventually, a bug report window comes up and asks if I want to restart, continue, or quit the app. It generated a bug report which I tried to attach here, but the file uploader does not like txt extensions. Go figure.

Any ideas? I guess there is some corrupt file it is trying to read at startup, but I have no idea what this file is or where it is located.

Hi,

Please close Backup4all from Task Manager and rename this folder:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all Professional 4\
