Backup is empty or the catalogue file is not available

Post by Istvan »

Hello,

I tried pressing Pause and Stop but neither of these buttons worked. I pressed Cancel then. And now, while I have 670 megabytes of data in my backup folder, the restore button says that the Backup is empty or the catalogue file is not available.

There are two errors in my log towards the end:
User pressed cancel. (srCreateError)
and
Zip error: User pressed cancel.

Hi,

The backup catalog is saved at the end of the backup. If the backup was aborted, no catalog file was saved and there is no backup to restore.
The file you see in destination seems to be a partial zip as long as it was not copied completely.

Thank you. I will give the backup run another shot.
(I just purchased the software yesterday afternoon)
