backup fails at 100% when writing catalog locked error
my backup failed with a zip memory error so I updated to version 5 and unticked the use memory for catalog option.
the bsckup now transfers all the files to zip but fails when writing the catalog with a partially locked error.
ive turned the memory option back on and have the same problem.
how can I resolve this?
if I am having problems writing the catalog shall I untick the 'use local catalog' option?
will the backup still be useable whilst I figure this out?
please see the log below.

Re: backup fails at 100% when writing catalog locked error
I was already reporting the catalog/database locking issue that happens from time to time:
The log shows this error: "Error: SQL error "DELETE FROM
JobStatus WHERE JobGuid="{25909D53-9918-4230-9206-08D018B0CD14}" AND
ActionType=0" - database is locked, database is locked (5) (SQL81)",
however the UI does not show anything, seems like the job is finished
fine, but very quickly. I suppose you would want to warn something in
this case.
I would suggest the author to request user to retry the action in the case of locking instead of just throwing an error and screwing the backup.

Re: backup fails at 100% when writing catalog locked error
My log doesn't show that SQL error.

We're seeing this here with build 596-

The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.
