b4aCmd.exe

Post by WebMaster-B4a »

Windows 7 Professional - Backup4all Standard Version 4.4 Build 214

Why do I get 3 instances of b4aCmd.exe running, each using 10-30% of CPU, when the Backup4all icon shows no activity?
What does the B4aCmd.exe do? When I manually start a backup job the task manager shows Backup4all.exe running.

I am running group backups and the B4aCmd.exe's continue to run when all backups are completed, consuming 70-80% of CPU.

Hi,

It seems you run multiple backups using the command line application of Backup4all.
How are they scheduled to run? Does the command line application closes after running the backup?

I have done nothing, that I known of, to use the command line application of Backup4all.

I have two groups of backups, 12 backups in each group, that are scheduled to run at different times.

Does the scheduler use the command line application?

Hi,

The command line application is used only if you specified so when the scheduled task was created.
Please send us the scheduled tasks for those groups from Control Panel->Task Scheduler.

How do you want me to send you the task files. An exported task from the scheduler has
a file type of XML which is not allowed as an attachment in this forum?
