Access violation error preventing opening of Backup4all

Post by craigrolston »

Backup4all Pro is terminated upon opening in Windows 7, at 0x0277D8FB (most currently, as well as other codes previously). FBackup 4 does the same. I couldn't find any info about 0x00000000 codes on Windows support fora.

Hi,

Please follow these steps:
1. Download and extract DebugView from http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/DebugView.zip.
2. Start DebugView
3. Start Backup4all.
4. Send us the debug log to support[at]backup4all[dot]com

Hi Adrian,

I just found Backup4all 4.3 (short cut) on my guest user account desktop. I opened it and updated to the current version but got the access violation error I get when I try to open any version on my own (Craig) user account. I did a (System Restore) and can again
open version 4.3 in my guest account. I hope this info helps in diagnosing why I can't access Backup4all with my (Craig) user account.

Hi,

What is the user account type you use? (Craig account).
Do you have the same problem if using a different normal account?
