When I restore build 414 from a backup, it shows build 414 until I click the install button and then it switches to build 436. What is happening?

I upgraded to Build 436 yesterday and everything seemed to be Ok. This morning I look at the Log and see that nothing was backed up. I start Backup4all and run the same Daily backup incremental job. Replace External hard drive with a different drive

What is the procedure for replacing the External hard drive assigned to a backup job with a new larger external hard drive?

I want to keep all of the backup copies, essentially move the data from the old drive to the new drive.

Recently I was able to gain visibility to the old backup drive and tried to copy the files from that drive to the new drive. Unfortunately I received errors so I ran a clean on the drive and eventually go rid of the errors. I am able to backup now without getting errors. I am worried that the system...

I lost visibility to the backup drive. You might say it crashed. I cannot mount it to any PC. The backup files are lost. I started the same backup job on a new disk drive. That would work if I did not want to limit the number of backups to 90 and Merge the extra backups. It appears this is a bug, I was hoping you would issue an update to Backup4all to make it warn about 7_C.zip being missing and then the next backup warn about 8_C.zip being missing and then the next b...

Well that is interesting because when I ran the restore none of the email accounts were created. This is a situation where the backup was performed on one PC and the restore was completed on a new PC. Both PCs are running Windows 8.
