Re: SFTP very slow upload speed

Hi,

There aren't such SFTP configuration options in Backup4all.
Is the Backup4all upload slower than the other SFTP clients using the same SFTP account?

Re: Destination Removable Drive Drop Down Empty

Hi,

I suggest you to create a new user or give this user all the necessarily permissions.

Re: Duplicate posts of daily backups

Hi,

Does this situation happens no matter if you use the Windows scheduler or the Standalone scheduler?

Re: Using Plugins

Hi,

That plugin was not made to backup the music, just the Windows Media Player settings and configurations.
For music, you can use this plugin: http://www.backup4all.com/kb/backup-mus ... l-395.html

Re: Restoring outlook 2007 files

Hi,

I need the restore log, not the restored files.
To find it, go to View->Job Logs->Last restore log and send it to support[at]backup4all[dot]com

Re: Restoring outlook 2007 files

Hi,

No, you don't need to tell the restore location. Backup4all will detect that.

If you try to restore the files (just for test) to another location, does it work?

Can you send me the restore log after you try to restore to the original location?

Re: Destination Removable Drive Drop Down Empty

Hi,

Have you tried to start Backup4all using "run as administrator" option?

Re: Restoring outlook 2007 files

Hi,

Can you explain what did not work?
1. Were the files restored ?
2. Did you receive any error message?
3. Was the backup made from the same Outlook account?

Re: Destination Removable Drive Drop Down Empty

Hi,

No, that should work in both cases. The problem is caused by the restrictive permissions you set to the normal user for handling the external drive.

Re: Destination Removable Drive Drop Down Empty

Hi,

If you log in as administrator, can you back up to E: drive?
