Depending of the backup type used and the configured settings, the versions will be preserved or not. In Backup Properties->Type, there is the option to "Merge backups". Hi,

You cannot do that for backup sources. If you change the sources path, all files moved will be backed up again.

Hi,

The changed folder name is seen as a new folder. You cannot avoid that.

To make sure you configured the scheduler correctly, please try to create the scheduled task under the current account with the current account password. Do you still have the problem?
