That plugin was not made to backup the music, just the Windows Media Player settings and configurations.

I need the restore log, not the restored files.
To find it, go to View->Job Logs->Last restore log and send it to support[at]backup4all[dot]com

Hi,

No, you don't need to tell the restore location. Backup4all will detect that.

If you try to restore the files (just for test) to another location, does it work?

Can you send me the restore log after you try to restore to the original location?

1. Were the files restored ?
2. Did you receive any error message?
3. Was the backup made from the same Outlook account?

Hi,

No, that should work in both cases. The problem is caused by the restrictive permissions you set to the normal user for handling the external drive.

Hi, If the merge option is not checked, the backup versions exceeding the limit will be deleted. In your case it was backup no.2. As backup no.3 and the following versions depends on backup no.2, you cannot remove backup no.2 and keep backup no.3 as you cannot restore no.3 without having no.2. This ...
