Hi,

If you edit the scheduler outside Backup4all, it won't be recognized in Backup4all, but it still works.

Re: Search/find in backups and add sources with drag-drop feature

Hi,

If you can give me access to your computer I would be happy to find the problem for you. It seems like a permission issue.

To remove files/folders from the backup sources in Explore View, just right click the file/folder and select "Exclude from backup sources".

Re: Search/find in backups and add sources with drag-drop feature

Hi,

Please try the following:
1. Download Total commander
2. Open it as administrator
3. Try to drag and drop files into the backup sources list of Backup4all.

Do you still have the problem?

Re: Trying to backup my complete system.

Hi, Backup4All was not designed for system backup, so you won't be able to restore the operating system. You should use Backup4all for data files backup only. Re: Problem with B4A and Windows 8

Hi,

Please make sure there isn't another application blocking Backup4all. That was the problem in the previous case.
Close as many applications you can and try again to run Backup4all.

Re: Support for detection of moved source files

Hi,

Backup4all does not detect the files you move, they are considered new files.

Backup4all is not synch application, but a backup one.

Re: Search/find in backups and add sources with drag-drop feature

Hi,

1. We will think about your suggestion.

2. Do you have UAC activated?
Can you add files from another application started using Admin permissions as Total Commander?
