Re: IPC Server

Hi,

Do you use an administrator account?
Do you have the same problem if you manually run the backup?

Re: Wishlist: Default Tag in email subject

Hi, In the Backup4all installation folder, you can edit the email templates (for example: SuccessFullMail.txt). The first line of the file contains the email subject. <!"<#BACKUP_NAME>" executed successfully!> You can add "Backup4all" word there. After that, don't forget to open Backup Properties->E...

Re: Backup aborted - SQL error

Hi,

The backup catalog you sent us seems to be fine.
Please delete the backup job from Backup4all, then open the .bkc catalog file from the backup destination.
That will recreate the backup job in Backup4all.
Run again the backup and let us know if you still have the problem.

Re: Restore latest version - but not if already restored

Hi,

At this moment, Backup4all does not compare the files to be restored with the existing files in restore location. It only detects if there are files with the same name and user can overwrite or skip them.
We created a ticket to add such an option to overwrite only older files.

Re: Plugin creation questions

Hi,

1. For "C:\users\*\appdata\Roaming" you can use "%appdata%"
Example: "C:\users\*\appdata\Roaming\Softland" will be "%appdata%\Softland"

2. By default, all source files are included. The Exclude filter is stronger than the include filter.

Hi,

How fast is the transfer speed if you copy the files using File Explorer from Windows with the mapped drive of Netdrive2?
