Hi,

Yes, you need to unzip the 474_C.zip file using WinZip or 7zip.
Then you can pick the file you need.

Hi,

If you cannot open Backup4all from Windows taskbar, please close Backup4all and rename this file:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all 6\Layout.ini
Open Backup4all again.

Hi,

In the next release of Backup4all, we will make some changed in order to be able to select the "Lock the destination to this external hard drive" option also for SCSI Disk drives, no matter if they are visible as internal or external drives.

I understand your problem.
I asked if you can use the safely remove hardware tool from Windows in order to see if Windows sees the drive correctly as External.

Hi,

Did you install the drivers for it?
Can you use the safely removal tool for that device in Windows?
Drives are organized in Backup4all based on the information given by the Windows OS.
