Re: Check for sufficient free space before backup

Hi, At this moment you can calculate the statistics for next backup if you go to Statistics View (F3). There you can also see the free disk space in destination. Showing the total size of the selected sources in Properties->Sources is one of the features that will be implemented in Backup4all. I can...

Re: using ftp backup

Hi,

As we told you, the FTP account you use does not have enough permissions to create folders in that location.
Even the temporary FTP account you created for us allows to create folders only in a subfolder but not in the root location.

Re: restoring all available versions of a file, older then...

Hi, At this moment there isn't such an option to restore all versions of a specific file. We added your suggestion on our Wishlist. For now, here is a method to quickly restore all versions of that file. 1. Open Backup4all, go to Explore View 2. Select the file you want to restore. In the bottom, yo...

Re: I would like...

Hi,

We will think about your suggestion, but at this moment that kind of filter definition cannot be used in Backup4all.

Re: using ftp backup

Hi,

As we also told you from support email, please make sure you have enough permissions to create folders and upload files in that location using another FTP client.

Re: Filter issue

Hi,

In this case, you should set a filter to include all files with the archived attribute set.

To do that, please open Backup4all, go to Backup Properties->Filters.
Press "Add include" and enable the "File attributes".
Check "Attributes" from the list and press OK.
Press Save and run.

Re: Warning: Invalid argument to date encode?

Hi,

1. What version of Backup4all do you use? See that in Help menu->About Backup4all.

2. What is the "Creation date" of the files in backup destination? (on the disc) You can see that using Windows Explorer.

Re: Always use temporary folder & alternative zip method on removable

Hi,

The behavior is the same for all removable drives.
We cannot change that, as the modification will also be applied for all other slow removable drives.
