Hi,
Please open Backup Properties->Advanced page and uncheck the "Smart file scanning mode" option.
Press Save and run again the backup. Does it includes the remaining files?
What about if you go to Statistics View (F3) and run calculate statistics? does it finds the files to be backed up?

Re: Configuring of backups and adding new directories
Hi,
If you add a drive or folder in the backup sources, all new files and folders created under that drive/folder will be automatically added to the backup sources (as being part of the main drive/folder)

Re: Backing up mp3 files of a certain rating
Hi,
Backing up a give list of files is not possible at this moment, with Backup4all.
As for the other cases you mention, there is a solution in Backup4all: to use filters.
You can use filters to include or exclude files containing a given name, you can also filter them by date and so on.

Re: Backing up mp3 files of a certain rating
Hi,
You can back up those files without a plugin.
If you can see the 5 star files in Windows Explorer, just select them and use drag-and-drop to add them into the backup sources list (in Backup Properties->Sources) of a new backup job.

Hi, Here is an article about how to do that: https://www.backup4all.com/backup-strategy-make-a-full-backup-locally-and-subsequent-incremental-backups-to-ftp-kb.html When changing the destination in such a case, please make sure the "Use local catalogs" option is not selected in Backup Properties->Ad...

Re: Virus found in update
Hi,
That is for sure a false positive, as each release of Backup4all is scanned with more than 50 antivirus applications and there is no infection inside.
