Hi,

Please install build 214 of Backup4all.
After running the backup, open the resulting zip archive using WinZip.
Switch on Details view and compare the original size of the file with the packed one.
Also see the compression ratio.

Let us know if you still have the problem.

You cannot do that with Backup4all. You should use it for data files backup only.

Hi,

Yes, you can do that.
Please follow these steps:
1. Open Backup4all
2. Go to View menu->View jobs as->Tree
3. Right click the backup group you want to run and select "Create shortcut"
4. In the Execute section, select "Command line application"
5. Press OK to save the shortcut.

Hi,

The application was designed to back up both new and existing files that were modified.
With all these, you can set up a scenario as you need if you run the mirror backup daily and use an exclude filter for all files having the creation date older than "yesterday".
