Re: Scheduled Backups

Hi,

If you select to run the backup at system shutdown, it will run at every shutdown. You cannot specify which days to run.

Re: b4aCmd.exe

Hi,

The command line application is used only if you specified so when the scheduled task was created.
Please send us the scheduled tasks for those groups from Control Panel->Task Scheduler.

Re: Scheduled Backups

Hi, If you limit the number of stored backup to 6, Backup4all will automatically delete the oldest backup when the 7th backup is created. To set up that limit, please open Backup Properties->Type. Select the "Yes, limit number of backups" option and set the limit at 6. Press Save. The Mirror backup ...

Re: Scheduled Backups

Hi,

It seems you set an option in Windows scheduler to run the task as soon as possible if missed.
To disable that option, go to Control Panel->Task Scheduler.
Select the task for that job and in the Settings tab, uncheck the "Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed" option.

Re: b4aCmd.exe

Hi,

It seems you run multiple backups using the command line application of Backup4all.
How are they scheduled to run? Does the command line application closes after running the backup?

Re: Snooze button?

Hi, We will think about your suggestion. The snooze option will be displayed every 10 or 30 minutes, postponing it every time (multiple times maybe), but it doesn't know exactly when you finish your work. In your case, you can use the option to run the back up at system shutdown. This way, you can f...

Re: Scheduled Backups

Hi, Please note the backup jobs are independent. Each limit of the maximum number of stored backup applies to that backup job only. It does not depend on the other backup jobs. In your case, a backup job will be limited at 6 and the other will be limited at 3 backup versions. If the computer was tur...

Re: preparing shadow copy . . . please wait

@jscrenci:
That "Use local catalogs" option is not related to this problem.

@Zoriel:
Did you put all exe files inside Backup4all installation folder into the exceptions list of your antivirus?
