Re: Problem with B4A and Windows 8

Hi,

Backup4all works fine under Windows 8 bot 32-bit and 64-bit OS.

1. Do you have the same problem if you uninstall and reinstall Backup4all?
2. What version of Windows did you upgrade to Windows 8? or it was a complete new installation?

Re: Blu ray in drive " " is not ready

Hi,

Please open Backup4all, go to Tools->Options->CD, DVD or Blu-ray.
Select the SPTD burning engine, restart the computer and try again, do you have the same problem?

Re: Backing up a PC on the LAN

Hi, Backup4All was not designed for system backup, so you won't be able to restore the operating system. You should use Backup4all for data files backup only. We do not recommend to use Backup4all in order to backup system files / installed software. We encourage users to use it only for their own w...

Re: windows 7 - bck4all main menu doesn't appear

Hi,

Please make sure the backup4all.exe process is closed (in Task Manager).
Go to "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all Professional 4\" and rename the "Layout.ini" file.

Re: cannot send email notifications through Microsoft Online hosted Exchange

Hi,

The problem is not with Backup4all, users usually find the problem on their side or we help them to find the problem.
Usually the settings are not correct.

Have you tried sending emails using GMail settings as posted above?

Re: Windows 7 64bit - gadget is not a showing up

Hi,

Did you install it when installing Backup4all? There was a checkbox for that.
You can also try to find the gadget in the Backup4all installation folder.
Double click on it.
