Hi,

No, the first backup will include all source files and folders. Backup4all uses the backup catalog to determine which files will be backed up. It does not compare the source and the destination each time you run a new backup.

Hi,

The first step does not tell you to open the Backup4all website, it says to open Backup4all which means the Backup4all application installed on your computer.
There are the upper menus: File, View.... Help (the last one).
If you press it, you will see the Register option in the list.

Hi, Please note the incremental backups are based on the previous backup execution: incremental, differential or full. If you select to delete an incremental or differential backup version older than 3 weeks ago, all backups depending on it will be deleted too, otherwise they would be useless. Were ...

Hi,

Please open the Event Viewer from Windows. Do you see any errors/warnings regarding VSS during the backup time?
It seems there is a problem with the Volume Shadow Copy on your computer.

Hi,

Is that the only file with problems lately?
If the VSS is working fine and all conditions to back up open files are met, it is interesting to know what application uses that file and if there is any special restriction regarding that file type.
