Hi,

That file version won't be deleted. I will be merged with the other backups.

Re: Error: Backup aborted. Reason: Cannot add file...to.... Zip Error: Stream Read Error.

Hi, Let's say you have 10 large files to be backed up. When backing up them, you want to stop the backup after 4 files were processed. Pressing the Stop button will close the catalog and stop the backup. Only 4 files were marked as backed up in the backup catalog. The other 6 files will be backed up...

Re: Program windows sizes

Hi, The backup job can be resumed only if it paused. If you restart the computer or close Backup4all, you won't be able to resume the backup. It will start from the beginning. In such a case, you should press Stop. That will process the file(s) in progress and will close the backup catalog. The rema...

Hi,

In Backup Properties->Compression, please split the backup to get smaller files in destination.
Set the split size at 4 GB and run again the backup.
Do you still have the problem?

Re: [URGENT] Help needed - FTP Backup

Hi, 1. You can disable the shadow copy for that backup job from Backup Properties->Advanced, by unselecting the "Backup open files" option. 2. You can use the Mirror backup type. This type creates in destination an exact copy of the source files without zipping them. After that only new and modified...

Re: B4aCmd.exe begins running without notice

Hi,

You said the file starts randomly. There should be a fixed time or a specific event before that. Can you find which one is?

Re: B4aCmd.exe begins running without notice

Hi,

A file does not start by itself randomly, it has to be something starting it.

Re: B4aCmd.exe begins running without notice

Hi,

Please open Control Panel->Task Scheduler and see all tasks created by Backup4all. Delete the ones you don't need.
You can also check the "C:\Windows\Tasks" to see if there are some other tasks.
